Wow, What a Fish Fry at Milton Lodge #161

I hope you took the time to go to our fellow brothers fish fry at the Milton lodge yesterday. My wife and I along with some friends from Milton made it there around 6pm. We sat right down and loaded up the plates. Cod, Smelt, Cole slaw and that great homemade potato salad.

I ate it all and then some. Lots of fellow brother lodge members were there along with many people from the public. Brother Dwayne Huber took a minute from the deep fryer in the kitchen to come out to our table to say hi and that they had a great turn out. He said they were steady from the start. I congratulated him on some wonderful fish. It was like a shore lunch of sort ya know, you could pick up the fish and eat it with your hands. Oh so good.

Great job Milton lodge on another fine fish fry. P.S. I tried to get my wife to put the bowl of potato salad in her purse but, it was too small. DARN.

We Passed The Gavel

On Wednesday night Union Lodge #32 traveled over to Edgerton to pass the traveling gavel to Fulton Lodge #69. This was my first visit to the Fulton lodge and I was very impressed. This big old lodge building looks as good from the outside as well as inside. A very nice entryway leading into a large dinning room and kitchen.

We were welcomed by our fellow brothers of Fulton Lodge and we all had a nice visit with the members before the meeting started. I always like to meet new people and especially new brothers. I hope we continue to travel to other lodges.

When you go upstairs to the meeting room the character just continues in this lodge. Many antiques(which I love), and a lodge room that the members keep looking great.

We had a nice meeting and Fulton's Worshipful Master said they had a new member getting ready for his first degree। Lodge was closed by Union Lodge #32.
